Every time a friend like's somebodies photo it will come up on my news feed, is there any way to remove this? Especially since most of the photos my friend's like are of somebody that I don't know, why would I want to see that on my news feed? I don't know these people!

Ok, so i update my status on Facebook wall! I can see it initially, but when i go to, for example, my page & then return to the main wall, it has disapeared, although it stays on my wall! How can i arrange things so i can see my updates on the wall?
